We ship physical orders anywhere in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Digital patterns are delivered by download, so nothing ships.
Do you ship internationally?
Not physical orders — for now we ship within the United States only. Digital patterns are delivered by email download.
How long until my order ships?
Items we have in stock ship within 3–5 business days. Hand-painted canvases are painted to order and ship within 2–3 weeks. Preorders show their ship-by date on the product page and in your order confirmation.
What if my order has in-stock items and a canvas or preorder?
We ship each part as it's ready, and you pay shipping once, at checkout.
How much is shipping? Do you offer free shipping?
Shipping is calculated at checkout from the weight of your order, starting at $7.90 for Standard. Right now, orders of $100 or more ship free by Standard shipping. Very heavy orders and oversize items aren't included, and your cart shows whether your order qualifies. Digital patterns never carry a shipping charge.
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. Express (USPS Priority) is offered at checkout for orders up to 5 lb. Larger, heavier items ship by calculated ground rates.
How do I track my order?
We email tracking as soon as each shipment is on its way. Weather, holidays and carrier delays can add time after that.
Can I pick up my order?
No — we're online only, so every order ships or downloads.
Returns, cancellations and problems
What is your return policy?
You can return most items within 30 days of delivery, unused and in their original condition and packaging. Email hello@inlovebtq.com with your order number for instructions. Refunds go to your original payment method within 10 business days of our receiving the item. Return postage is yours unless we made a mistake or it arrived damaged. See our return policy.
Can I return a hand-painted canvas?
Canvases are painted to order and final sale. You can cancel within 24 hours of ordering for a full refund; after that, painting begins. If a canvas arrives damaged or with a painting fault, email us within 7 days with a photo and we'll make it right.
Can I return a digital pattern?
Patterns are final sale once delivered. If a file won't open, is missing something, or isn't what the listing described, email us and we'll fix or replace it.
Can I return a kit?
Needlepoint, embroidery and watercolor kits are final sale. If something's wrong with yours, email hello@inlovebtq.com and we'll help.
Can I cancel a preorder?
Yes — any time before it ships, for a full refund. If we learn we can't meet the date, we'll email you a new estimate and you can choose to wait or cancel.
My item arrived damaged or wrong. What do I do?
Email hello@inlovebtq.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo and your order number. We'll replace or refund it, shipping included.
Needlepoint canvases, kits and patterns
Are your canvases hand-painted or printed?
Our canvases are hand-painted, and painted to order. Our needlepoint kits may use a printed canvas.
Does a canvas come with thread?
No. A canvas comes with its color key, and you choose your own threads. If you'd like everything in one box, our needlepoint kits include all the thread you need.
What comes in a needlepoint kit?
A printed canvas with taped edges, so it needs no stretcher bars; all the cotton thread to finish it; and needles. Each of our needlepoint kits lists its exact contents on its product page.
What comes in a watercolor kit?
Three pre-drawn designs on watercolor paper, a swatch sheet for testing and blending colors, a curated watercolor palette, and step-by-step guidance. Each of our watercolor kits lists its design size and contents on its product page.
What comes in an embroidery kit?
Every embroidery kit includes the fabric, embroidery floss, a hoop, a needle and instructions, plus felt backing for finishing. Our ornament kits come with the design pre-printed and a twine hanger. Our hoop kits add a transfer pen, a stitch guide and video tutorials. Each of our embroidery kits lists its exact contents on its product page.
What's the difference between a canvas and a pattern?
A canvas is the painted canvas itself, shipped to you, ready to stitch. A pattern is a digital download: a counted chart with a color key, plus true-size transfer sheets if you'd like to paint your own canvas. Most designs come as both.
Which mesh should I choose, 13 or 18?
13 mesh has larger holes and bigger stitches, so it works up faster and is the easier place to start. 18 mesh is finer and holds more detail, and uses roughly twice the stitches for the same size. Each product lists its mesh, and you can browse 13 mesh and 18 mesh.
Is needlepoint good for beginners?
Yes — tent stitch is the only stitch you need to start, and a small 13-mesh piece is a friendly first project. Beginner projects gathers the ones we'd suggest.
How much blank canvas is around the design?
About 3 inches on every side, so there's room to mount it on stretcher bars and to finish it. Each canvas lists its design size and canvas size.
Do your canvases come with stitch guides?
Not at the moment. Our patterns focus on color: a color key with DMC thread starting points, a color-by-color chart, and transfer sheets for recreating the design on your own canvas. You're free to use any stitches you love, and stitching resources are coming soon.
Do you offer finishing?
We don't offer finishing services. A local needlepoint shop or an independent finisher can turn your piece into an ornament, pillow or frame, and every canvas is cut with spare canvas around the design for finishing.
Digital patterns
What do I get when I buy a pattern?
A ZIP file, emailed as soon as your order is paid, containing a Start Here note, the counted chart with its color key, a color-by-color chart, true-size transfer sheets (plain and with a faint grid), a picture of the painted design, and the usage terms. See Digital downloads.
Will the pattern print on my paper size?
Yes — every PDF prints on US Letter or A4 without resizing.
Is there a download limit, or do the links expire?
Neither. If the email doesn't arrive, check spam, then write to hello@inlovebtq.com with your order number and we'll resend it.
Can I open the pattern on my phone or tablet?
Yes. Open the ZIP from the Files app on iPhone or iPad, or Downloads on Android, then open each file from there.
Can I sell what I stitch from your designs?
Our designs are for your own making, or for a gift you make. Please don't share the files, reproduce a design as a product, or sell pieces stitched from it. For a class, group or shop, write to us first.

What is In Love?
Since 2021, In Love has been a small design house making and gathering meaningful things for the people and moments you hold close. We offer needlepoint canvases, kits and patterns, journals and devotionals, games and puzzles, clothing, and gifts.
How do I contact you?
Email hello@inlovebtq.com, or use our contact form. We reply within 2 business days. Please include your order number if it's about an order.
Do you have a store I can visit?
Not right now — we're online only. We've sold in person before, and we'll share any future events on our site and on Instagram.
Do you sell wholesale or bulk?
Not at the moment.
Do you take custom orders or commissions?
Not at the moment.
Do you have discount codes?
We run seasonal promotions. Sign up for our emails at the bottom of any page for a welcome discount and messages about new designs, seasonal pieces, and special offers.
Do you offer gift wrapping or gift messages?
We don't offer gift wrapping, but you can add a gift message in your cart ("Add a gift message or note") and we'll print it on the packing slip that ships with your order. Digital patterns are emailed to you rather than posted, so to give one as a gift, forward the download email with your own message.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes — digital gift cards are available on our site and arrive by email. Gift cards can't be returned or exchanged for cash.
